#3 Immersive Keynote Session:

An immersive 90-minute master class on the power of connected leadership in uncertain times as viewed through the legendary Harvard Business School case study: “Leadership in Crisis: Ernest Shackleton and the Epic Voyage of the Endurance.”

The session opens in-character as Shackleton shares how he and his crew of 27 sailed for Antarctica in 1914, becoming trapped in thick pack ice. Their ship eventually sinks, leaving the crew to fight for survival over months in harsh conditions.

Using a powerful combination of interactive dialogue, historical journal readings, humorous quips, compelling audio briefs, and lively Q&A, Shackleton immerses audiences in the most epic survival story ever told. He teaches participants how to better understand the human condition, practice servant leadership, and lead boldly when all the odds are stacked against them.

The adventure concludes with a facilitated debriefing session where leaders consider their own organizations, where they may be stuck in the ice, how connected/aligned their teams are, where ego may be getting in the way, and what big bets they may need to make to ensure their own survival.
